Future Baseketball Player

 We took Nathan to Scheels on Saturday, holy cow that store is amazing.  We went with no purpose and I am pretty sure we spent an hour and a half there.  And the majority of that time was spent in the basketball section, seriously Nathan would not let us leave.  He had to look at every basketball there was, hold them all, dribble the ball (aka pick up the ball, drop the ball, and pick it up again) and try to throw it in the hoop.  Who knew a 15 month old would be so fascinated with basketballs? His uncle Shawn couldn't have been more proud!

Nathan was so heartbroken when it was time to leave that we bought him his first little basketball and that kid snuggled with it the whole way home!

Picture Update

Well I think I have pretty much failed at blogging the past month.  But between being sick and being exhausted from taking care of a sick toddler there hasn't been much time.  So here is a picture update from the past month.

Nathan looks goofy in this picture but he has started sorting his fruit loops by color.  In the picture he is cheering and clapping for himself.

 

We had a fun birthday party for Shawn at Texas Roadhouse.  Gotta love what they make you do for birthdays!

We took Nathan on the carousal at South Towne mall and he actually liked it!  Understatement he LOVED it and squealed the entire ride.

Nathan has recently discovered the shopping carts with the cars on front at the grocery store.  Grocery shopping has never been quite so entertaining.

Nathan went to his first Valentines Day party at his daycare.  He was so happy with all of his treats, especially the suckers and carried them around the entire night.

15 Months

Nathan had his 15 month appointment last Friday.  He weighs 23.5 pounds (35th percentile) and is 32.5 inches tall (90th percentile). The doctor said he is looking great and actually called him a hellion on wheels.  But we love our little energizer bunny.  Nathan is talking enough and walking enough and hitting all of his milestones and we are thrilled!   Nathan also got three shots, Hepatitis, Chicken Pox, and Tetanus.  He was pretty sore after the Tetanus but was a trooper and did so good!  He will get one more shot at 18 months and then we are done until kindergarten!  Good job little monkey you are doing awesome!
