One More Month!

I cannot even believe that my due date is in exactly one month from today.  Which means I actually have less than one month left because my doctor is going to let me get induced early.  I'm starting to get so antsy and excited that the countdown has actually begun.

I had my 35 week doctors appointment yesterday and actually went really great.  Weight good, blood pressure good, and I got to see my little guy on the ultrasound!  They did a cervical check as well and to my surprise I am 60% effaced and 1 1/2 cm dilated!  When I went in at 41 weeks with Nathan to be induced he hadn't even dropped, I hadn't started effacing and I wasn't dilated at all so this news was huge!

Last week I started feeling pretty rough and was complaining to Matt about how I didn't know how I was going to get everything ready for the baby because we hadn't set up any of the baby stuff yet.  Well he had work off on Friday and spent the entire day setting up the crib, washing baby clothes, running errands and taking care of everything on my to-do list.  I had no idea so when I got home Friday and saw what he had done I just broke down crying.  He did such a great job getting everything organized and put away and the only thing left on my to-do list is to pack my hospital bag.  I can't believe what a sweet and thoughtful husband Matt is.

Nathan is starting to figure out that something is going on but doesn't know exactly what it is.  He was fascinated with the baby swing a few days ago and when I told him it was for his baby brother he nodded his head and said "For baby!" and then left it alone. Lately he has been putting his head on my stomach, giving it a hug and saying "awww!"  which is darling but I just don't know how much he understands.  He will figure it out pretty quick I guess when his brother gets here!
